As women, we are programmed to give.  We give to our families, our friends and our communities, among other things.  We give because it is important; it is fulfilling; and because others need the gifts we have to share.

However, as professional women, our careers and businesses can also benefit from the work we do in our communities.  By choosing the right opportunities in our community, such as those that allow us to showcase our expertise, or work directly with our target market constituents, we can create recognition and networks that can help us reach our own goals, while we do the work of helping others.

In this presentation, Martha Carlson, who is a committed community leader herself, as well a successful business woman, will help us discern what types of community involvement might be a good fit for each of us, depending on our interests, skills and goals.

Presenter: Martha Carlson, The Bailey Group
